Glyph Jug

Coil-built, black with white stoneware clay, unglazed.

This organic vessel has a tall, tapering silhouette that begins squarish at the base and narrows into a rounded opening at the top. It’s made from black stoneware with vertical white inlays around the opening. This asymmetrical and minimalistic vessel can stand in for the ubiquitous water jug. Its exterior is raw and textural and the interior is glazed clear. Watertight.

Measures approximately 5” W x 9.5” H x 5” D, 3 pounds, 10.7 ounces.
