Black stoneware clay, white glaze, metal rod, wood base
Eight slender ceramic elements rise from individual wooden bases, each unique in height, texture, and profile. Their black surfaces show subtle irregularities that evoke bark, with hints of white in the ridges. Arranged together, the forms create a skyline, a grove viewed from a distance. While each element has its own character, the work's strength emerges through their collective presence. It's a reminder to keep perspective when the details get muddy. Offered here as a grouping. Contact me for individual pricing. Walnut, myrtle, ash, and maple bases with steel rods.
Tallest measures approximately 29.5" in height and weighs 8 pounds, 13.5 ounces. The shortest measures approximately 16.25" in height and weighs 3 pounds, 11.2 ounces.
All my pieces are handmade. They are often asymmetrical and organically shaped. Each is different, making your piece original. You will receive the exact item pictured.
Note: Shipping costs are high, especially for weighty ceramic pieces. If I can ship for less than what you are charged, I will reimburse you for the excess. I also offer economy shipping to keep the cost down, but if timing is critical, contact me to discuss expedited shipping.
