Red Dot Vessel

Red Dot Vessel is asymmetrical, with a rounded base that gradually narrows into an irregular, slanted neck and a small opening at the top. The red dots vary slightly in size and create a playful contrast against the dark background. The overall aesthetic is modern, artsy, bold, simple. She is hand-built with coils in black stoneware clay. Red satin glaze was applied by brush, leaving unglazed raw black clay elsewhere. The unglazed clay appears black with light specks in most lights, but sometimes (for example, when wet) it looks very dark brown. The interior is glazed clear. Watertight.

Measures approximately 8.75” W x 9.5” L x 6.25” D, 4 pounds, 1 ounce.
