Full Circle inspired both the Circles Collection and a series of three-footed sculptural pieces called Orbit Vessels. This sculpture resists perfection. Not fully round, a procession of irregular circles dances across the gritty black stoneware, and at the top, a gentle collapse. Its exterior is unglazed.

Lines Vessel - Small is slim and curvy with a bold two-tone line design. The mod lines were incised and filled with white clay to lend a graphic quality, while retaining the warmth of handmade ceramic work. Hand-built with coils in black stoneware clay with white clay accents. The unglazed clay appears black with light specks in most lights, but sometimes (for example, when wet) it looks very dark brown. The interior is glazed clear. Watertight.
