Canyon Corridor is a hand-built ceramic sculpture whose monolithic form is defined by a narrow central passage. It asks us to contemplate the spaces we move through—both physical and emotional—and honors the dialogue between solid form and open space, where absence is as meaningful as presence.
The matte black clay surface is subtly textured with the marks of the hand, like a canyon shaped by wind and water, giving an organic authenticity. At the summit, two rounded peaks echo mountain ridges. The interior is glazed clear. Watertight.
Measures approximately 9.5” W x 22.75” H x 10.5” D.
Canyon Corridor is currently on display as part of the Anniversary Exhibit, In Good Company, at D'art Gallery, 900 Santa Fe Street, Denver, and is not available for purchase on this website.
