Hand-built, black stoneware, multi-colored glazes

The surface of Herself is richly layered, covered in overlapping patches of earthy rust, olive green, charcoal, cream, and muted violet, highlighted by round marks in red and orange. These circular forms read like eyes floating across the body, lending a watchful, introspective presence. Brushstrokes, scraping, and glaze pooling remain visible, creating a skin that holds a quiet tension between figure and landscape.

Measures approximately 14.5” W x 22.25” H x 10” D, 17 pounds, 11.2 ounces.
