Handbuilt black and white stoneware, glazed green

Two coils of black clay, two coils of white clay, times five. This vessel rises in a tall, continuous gesture, narrowing through the center before swelling into a rounded upper chamber and finishing with a small, pinched opening. Its silhouette feels bodily and architectural at once, suggesting both a standing figure and a landmark form shaped by pressure and time.

Measures approximately 21.5” H x 9.5” W x 9.5” D, 13 pounds, 11.7 ounces.
