Coil-built, black stoneware clay, matte white glaze
This vessel rises from a rounded base into a softly tapered neck, its silhouette simple and self-assured. Two dark bands expose the raw clay and spiral diagonally around the body, wrapping the form in a continuous motion. Their path suggests movement through space and reminds us that our path can diverge and return. Made with black stoneware and glazed with a matte white glaze that looks like a warm latte over the dark clay body. Its interior is glazed clear. Watertight.
Measures approximately 4.75” W x 9.25” H x 3.25” D, 2 pounds, 8.9 ounces.
