Threshold has a fluid, organic form, glazed green, with a band of exposed clay, a deliberate break in continuity. Threshold suggests a dialogue between what is revealed and what is concealed. The opening is elongated for function and sculptural intent. Hand-built with red stoneware clay. The exterior is glazed in a glossy green glaze, and the interior is clear. Watertight.
Measures approximately 14” W x 4” L x 6” H, 5 pounds, 3.2 ounces.
